Relais Castello Vertine is situated in a medieval hamlet, constructed of white stone, built around 1000AD, surrounded by forests and olive groves, immersed in a magical atmosphere of tranquility.
The Relais has five marvelous rooms, stylishly furnished and situated in different areas of the castle, one of which is in the tower. The cottage, an independent option, is situated in the peaceful garden.
Two points of interest are the unusually shaped outdoor swimming pool, from which it is possible to view the spectacular sunset through the valleys and secondly, the numerous artworks and sculptures, created by the owner of the house, situated around the garden help to create a special atmosphere.

ROOMS
Relais Castello Vertine has five grand rooms at the disposal of the guests, each one with its own bathroom.
Each room, unique in style, is situated in different parts of the castle: the wonder of sleeping in the Stanza Torre on the third floor, the minimal style and the spectacular view from the Stanza bianca, the welcoming feel of the Stanza Rossa and the strong sense of history of the Stanza Impero and Stanza Settecento.
The rooms come with towels and house keeping.
STANZA TORRE
Double room with private bathroom
This room is situated on the top floor of the castle, one side looks to the village and the other side to the striking landscape of the hills of Chianti.
It's a unique room, with a romantic atmosphere, ideal for couples in search of intimacy.
The king size bed with canopy, the bed-side tables and the wrought iron lamps were all designed and created by Elena Trissino. The room has a private bathroom with a shower/bath.
STANZA BIANCA
Double room with private bathroom
From this room you have a view of the village of Vertine and the surrounding hills with the Castello di Brolio, Castello di Meleto and other small villages.
The room is furnished with a king size bed and a bamboo sofa, which can be converted to a single bed.
The room has a comfortable bathroom with mosaics, a double sink and a shower/bath.
STANZA ROSSA
Twin room with private bathroom
The room is made of two spaces:
the first has a view of the village and has a sofa bed;
the second is a spacious room with a view of the garden, two single beds and a wooden mezzanine.

STANZA IMPERO
Twin room with private bathroom
Large room furnished in the "Impero" style, two single beds and a wardrobe.
From the windows one can enjoy of a view of the garden, the big cedar of Lebanon and the surrounding hills.
The private bathroom has a bath/shower.
STANZA SETTECENTO
Double room with private bathroom
A very big suite that comprises of two rooms connected by a big arch. The floor is hand decorated and the room has furniture from the 18th Century.
The big window has a view of the village.

IL COTTAGE
Double room, Living room, kitchen and two bathrooms (2+2)
The cottage can receive up to 4 people.
It's situated on two levels with independent access to the garden, but also connected internally by stairs.
On the top floor there is a double bedroom, a toilet with shower and access to the terrace.
On the ground floor there is the kitchen, a big lounge with sofa that is convertible into a double bed, toilet with shower and access to the second terrace with pergola.
